Originally from Kermanshah, Iran, a world renowned wrestling powerhouse, Dariush Haghighi brings over 30 years of elite experience in Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling as both a competitor and coach.
He began wrestling at age 15, developing within Iran’s highly competitive system and building the technical foundation that defines world class athletes. His competitive career includes international experience, notably the 2006 English Freestyle Wrestling Championships.
Dariush has coached at Oxford Martial Arts Academy, Bristol MMA Academy, Kensington Wrestling and Wigan MMA Academy, working with wrestlers and MMA athletes at all levels.
His coaching philosophy centres on technical precision and intelligent wrestling. He emphasises control, positioning, balance and efficiency, developing athletes who conserve energy, dictate matches and dominate through superior fundamentals rather than brute force.
DARIUSH HAGHIGHI


Aman Sakhizadeh is a British Wrestling licensed Level 2 coach and former competitive wrestler and amateur MMA fighter based in Greenford, London. He brings nearly 30 years of experience across wrestling, grappling and MMA, with a coaching career that began in 2006.
He started wrestling at 15 and went on to compete at a high level, representing Team GB for 10 years. As a junior wrestler, he achieved significant national success, winning the English Junior Championship and British Junior Championship multiple times between 2003 and 2005.
Alongside wrestling, Aman competed in amateur MMA, finishing with a 3–2 record. His competition tested grappling background gives him practical insight that translates directly to both wrestling and MMA athletes.
As a coach, Aman has focused extensively on youth and community development, establishing and leading wrestling programmes for young people and adults. He emphasises strong fundamentals, discipline and confidence, using sport to create structure, opportunity and a positive direction for the athletes he works with.
